School websites require a fundamentally different approach to that used for business sites.

Entirely new boundary conditions are imposed and opportunities offered; mostly originating in 'best practice' for education rather than web design. It is a shame that so many schools set off down the 'new website' path without understanding that important fact. Inevitably they finish up with a website that might be fine for a small business but is limited in its educational use.
